The local facilities in Ansdell are excellent and the convenient shops include a supermarket, a chemist, a newsagents and a hair salon. Church of England, Catholic, Baptist and Methodist churches are located in Ansdell. King Edward School and Queen Mary School, now amalgamated into a co-educational campus, is also situated in this area. Ansdell offers commuters easy road and rail links.
